Water Conservation

Overview

Irrigation consumes approximately 70% of our fresh water. Since 1950, water consumption in the United States has increased by over 127% while the population increased 101%. Without sufficient supplies of good clean water the functions of industry, agriculture and our very way of life become threatened.

Masuen Consulting makes water conservation a core priority in every project, regardless of size, scope, or location and has successfully demonstrated, time and again, water conservation pays. When considering the ancillary benefits associated with water conservation including energy conservation, reduced operational costs, improved plant health, and reduced environmental impacts this logic only becomes more compelling.

All services offered by Masuen Consulting promote water conservation, and include but are not limited to:

  • Properly focused site, planting, irrigation, maintenance, and management plans
  • The use of alternative water sources including reuse, gray, black, storm, rain, condensate, cooling tower blowdown, and reverse osmosis water
  • The incorporation of computerized central control to allow for the effective management and integration of your entire site
