In 1995 Mitchel Walker started Walker Consulting & Design Group.
The company’s primary focus was water conservation through proper
irrigation system design, installation, maintenance and management.
The company became Masuen Consulting, a general partnership, in
1997 after merging with ‘By Design’ a horticultural consulting and
design firm owned by Michele Masuen. As a result of the merger, the
company expanded its services to include horticultural consulting,
permit plan review, ground water modeling, and consumptive water use
permitting.
In 2004 Masuen Consulting changed to its current name of Masuen
Consulting LLC, a limited liability partnership, and added its first two
full time employees.
As part of the company’s long term growth strategy, Todd Mohler and
Aaron Smith joined the Masuen Consulting team as principles in 2006. As
a result of their unique and special skills, the company added GPS
as-built services, GPS mapping, GIS, DOT project specialization, Green
Building (L.E.E.D.) certification, Landscape Architecture, and Site
Planning to the company’s ever growing list of services.
Today, Masuen Consulting LLC is one of a handful of companies in
the United States focused on providing water conservation solutions to
governmental entities, the development community, and others interested
in conserving our most precious resource.
The company’s philosophical cornerstones of water conservation,
long-term value, and un-equaled customer service have enabled Masuen
Consulting to become one of the most respected water conservation
oriented consulting firms in the United States. This philosophy is
undoubtedly the foundation upon which Masuen Consulting LLC has been
able to expand its operations throughout the United States and
Caribbean.
